To Market to Market to Buy a....?

To wake up at 4:30am on a Saturday morning, in the freezing cold is definitely not something to put on your bucket list. You may think I'm crazy, but the reason for getting out of my cosy bed was all thanks to getting a stall at Glebe Markets. After hours of lining up in the cold and putting my name on a list- i finally ended up securing my spot at the markets to sell some of my clothes with my friend; who also was as crazy and eager as me!
So, the moral of the story is: the markets are a great way to sell, buy, or just browse while drinking some freshly squeezed lemonade.

Below is a list of markets I have been to around Sydney that are definitely worth checking out!

1. Glebe Markets- Glebe Public School each Saturday in Glebe Point Road 9am-4pm
2. Bondi Markets- every Sunday in the grounds of Bondi Beach Public School.
3. Paddington Markets- Paddington Uniting Church on Oxford Street, Paddington every Saturday.
4. Surry Hills Markets- first Saturday of every month, Shannon Reserve at the corner of Crown and Collins St.
5. Balmain Markets- located in the grounds of St Andrews church Balmain every Saturday.
6. Rozelle Markets- every Saturday and Sunday at Rozelle Public School, Darling Street.
7. Kirribilli Markets- held on the fourth Saturday of the month from January to November, and on the first and third Saturdays of December at Bradfield Park, on the corner of Alfred St and Burton St, Milsons Point.
8. Newtown Designer Markets- Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on the third Sunday of each month from 9am until 3pm.
9. Marrickville Organic Food & Farmers Markets- Addison Road, Marrickville every Sunday.
10. Manly Markets- every Saturday and Sunday just off Manly Corso at Sydney Road.
