Le Black Book RSFF High Tea
The photos below are from the Le Black Book RSSF High Tea, which was held last month at Sydney's great venue- The Loft. I had the privilege with working with some of Australia's young designers, and up and coming designers. The runway show was a hit, and the models were great to work with. And not to forget the beautiful owner and creator of Le Black Book, Kath Purkis who is always a pleasure to work with. You will also notice from these runway photos that I add special touches with glasses, flowers, and big bows- which are all very popular on and off the runway this season.

The Power Brow
One thing that I love and will probably never go out of style, is the 'power eyebrow'. We've seen it dramatically displayed on the runway, but there definitely is a less obvious way for us ladies to rock it off the runway! The power brow is definitely one of Kiki's Kloset's trends to follow, or at least try out.
What do these thicker, darker brows signify? That a woman is serious, very powerful and not to be messed with.
How to achieve the power brow look:
Brow Power™ Universal Eyebrow Pencil with Brow Enhancing Technology transforms and adjusts to all brow hair colors. The oval shaped tip creates the most natural looking, believable brow and is perfect for both thin and thick brows. The long-wear formula is waterproof & smudge-resistant. It Cosmetics Exclusive Brow Enhancing Complex uses a patent-pending blend of cutting-edge ingredients to target the look of brow hair loss, and helps restore your brow hair follicles - promoting the look of healthy hair growth and health.

Double Denim- no longer a fashion crime
Double denim – the pairing of a denim shirt or jacket with denim jeans, shorts or skirt – is this year's hot new trend. Why the resistance to double denim? Most of us have the ingredients in our wardrobe, which you would think would make us open to the look. Double denim is supremely undemanding of physical perfection. ChloĆ©, Ralph Lauren, all gave good double denim on their Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks.
So this Summer, Kiki's Kloset suggests you jump on board the double denim train, but only if you can pull it off properly. Below are a few golden rules of how to wear and not wear double denim. DOUBLE DENIM RULES!
1 Do not wear a belt. With a belt, the look that you were hoping projected Paris catwalk insouciance becomes unreconstructed truck driver.
2 You need contrast in colour: One piece should be a darker denim. You might want this on your bottom half, darker colours being more slimming.
3 Don't go with a very fine chambray shirt with a very heavy denim jean. That's not double denim, that's cheating, and it doesn't have the right impact.
4 Break up the heaviness of the look with something light and feminine: the strap of a fabulous cross-body handbag, perhaps; or a pair of earrings; or wear the shirt open to show a pretty camisole.
5 Roll your sleeves up and highlight bare wrists with a bracelet or a big ring.
